His philosophy and approach to design is to take his chosen medium to a higher professional
standard. Many people think that Dallas’s work looks advanced, but the way it is broken down
step-by-step, he makes it easy to follow, allowing the students to create a successful finished
piece in class, whether they are beginners or advanced. He actively encourages each student’s
growth and further exploration of the arts.

Dallas graduated Woodbury University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fashion Design. He
has been teaching jewelry wire art design at shows, bead stores, bead societies, nationally
and internationally for 17 years. He is credited and awarded in many competitions through out his
design career. Dallas always has something new to offer his students and his out going approach
to teaching creates a fun learning atmosphere in the classroom, hence the phrase
"Weave it, Wire it, Lovett".
